Rx. Rehmanniae Sheng Di Huang 5-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin and generates Fluids.
With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood.
Rx. Rehmanniae Preparata Shu Di Huang 9-30g Nourishes the Blood and nourishes Liver and Kidney Yin.
With Dang Gui, for Blood Deficiency marked by dizziness, palpitations, insomnia and menstrual dysfunction.
With Dang Gui and Huang Lian, for Blood Deficiency with Heat.
With Ren Shen, for Qi, Yin and Blood Deficiency.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-15g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood Reduces swelling and alleviates pain.
With Shu Di Huang, for Heat symptoms due to Yin Deficiency and Devastated Blood.
Rx. Asparagi Tian Men Dong 5-15g Nourishes Kidney Yin, clears Lung Heat and sedates Fire.
With Ren Shen and Shu Di Huang, for debility and a low grade fever due to Yin Deficiency or after a febrile disease.
Rx. Ginseng Ren Shen 1-9g Tonifies Qi.
With Shu Di Huang, for Qi and Yin Deficiency.
With Shu Di Huang and Tian Men Dong, for Qi and Yin Deficiency.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3-14g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
Rz. Coptidis Huang Lian 3-10g Clears Heat, drains Dampness, drains Fire and resolves Fire toxicity.
Rx. Scutellariae Huang Qin 3-18g Clears Heat, dries Dampness, drains Fire, detoxifies and calms ascending Liver Yang.
With Huang Lian, drains pathogenic Heat from the Upper and Middle Jiaos for high fever, redness, swelling and pain of the head and face, a dry mouth, a parched throat, ulcerations of the mouth and tongue, epistaxis, rashes and irritability in warm-febrile disease.
Cx. Lycii Di Gu Pi 6-15g Cools the Blood and drains Yin Deficiency Fire.
With Huang Qin, for Blood Deficiency, Steaming Bone Disorder or other recurrent afternoon fevers.
Rx. Bupleuri Chai Hu 3-12g Spreads Liver Qi, relieves Stagnation, disperses Wind-Heat and raises Yang Qi.
With Huang Qin, restores the normal functioning of the Liver and Gallbladder.
With Zhi Ke, for a stifling sensation in the chest, abdominal pain, poor appetite and irregular bowel movements.
With Gan Cao, for Wind-Heat fever.
